　　含意：经常熬夜(工作中/学习培训)。

　　比如：Sometimes students have to burn the midnight oil to finish their assignments on time.

　　2.Work around the clock

　　含意：日夜兼程地工作中;分毫不停息地工作中

　　词组：hotel staff have to work around the clock.

　　点拔：假如想表明“忙碌工作中而完美无瑕去其他事儿”，可以说be tied up at work.比如：I was completely tied up at work.

　　3.Cramming

　　含意：临阵磨枪。也就是临考突袭。

　　词组：It concerns some parents that these examinations may induce cramming.

　　点拔：cram除开“临考突袭”，也有“挤(满)”的含意。比如提到英语口语话题讨论are traffic jams a problem in your city?时，你要能够:the main roads are crammed with private cars.

　　含意：人头攒动的。

　　词组：The bus station was jam-paced with commuters.

　　点拔：commuter表明的是每日搭车上班的大家。它的形容词是commute。比如：She commutes from Oxford to London every day.
